Stable Repository

Installing Consol Labs Software has never been easier. Just follow the steps for your linux distribution.

Currently the following software is part of this repository:

  • Mod-Gearman

  • Gearman

  • Thruk

  • Livestatus

  • OMD

  • Cairo

Note Not all packages are build for all systems. Ex.: Cairo is only needed on old redhat systems, on other systems sufficient versions are in place already.

Debian / Ubuntu

Install GPG Key

First step is to import the gpg key. This step has to be done only once.

  gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys F8C1CA08A57B9ED7
  gpg --armor --export F8C1CA08A57B9ED7 | apt-key add -

Debian Lenny (5.0)

Add the repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/debian lenny main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Debian Squeeze (6.0)

Make sure you have the GPG key added. Add the repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/debian squeeze main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Debian Wheezy (7.0)

Make sure you have the GPG key added. Add the repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/debian wheezy main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Debian Jessie (8.0)

Make sure you have the GPG key added. Add the repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/debian jessie main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Lucid (10.04)

Add the repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu lucid main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Natty (11.04)

Add this repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu natty main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Oneiric (11.10)

Add this repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu oneiric main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Precise (12.04)

Add this repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu precise main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Quantal (12.10)

Add this repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu quantal main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Ubuntu Raring (13.04)

Add this repository to your sources list:

  echo 'deb http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/ubuntu raring main' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
  apt-get update

Centos / Redhat

When using Centos or Redhat you may have to add the EPEL repository to resolve all dependencies.

Installing the repository rpm file is all you have to do. This has to be done only once.

  rpm -Uvh "http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/rhel5/i386/labs-consol-stable-1.3-1.rhel5.noarch.rpm"

Downloading the repository file is all you have to do. This has to be done only once.

  rpm -Uvh "http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/rhel6/i386/labs-consol-stable-1.3-1.rhel6.noarch.rpm"

Suse Linux Enterprise

SLES 11

You can use zypper to add the repository:

  zypper addrepo -f http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/sles11/consol-labs.repo

SLES 11 SP1

You can use zypper to add the repository:

  zypper addrepo -f http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/sles11sp1/consol-labs.repo

SLES 11 SP2

You can use zypper to add the repository:

  zypper addrepo -f http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/sles11sp2/consol-labs.repo

SLES 11 SP3

You can use zypper to add the repository:

  zypper addrepo -f http://labs.consol.de/repo/stable/sles11sp3/consol-labs.repo

    Hi,

    I even noticed that the file /etc/xinetd.d/livestatus in your “mk-livestatus” RPM is not marked as a config-file. This will cause changes to be overwritten on every update !
